What does ReAbleNow do, and what is its mission?

ReAbleNow is a Las Vegas 501(c)(3) nonprofit that accepts donated electronics, retired technology, and reusable computer components. We evaluate items for reuse first while creating meaningful paid work, training, and confidence-building opportunities for neurodivergent people, autistic people, and people with disabilities.

Why should I donate electronics to ReAbleNow?

Your donated electronics can help create jobs while keeping useful technology, components, and materials out of landfills. ReAbleNow gives retired electronics a second purpose through reuse, repair, refurbishment, repurpose, and parts harvesting whenever possible.

What electronics does ReAbleNow accept?

We accept many types of donated technology, including laptops, desktops, monitors, phones, tablets, servers, networking equipment, keyboards, mice, office electronics, circuit boards, memory, chips, cards, cables, and connectors.

Do items need to be working?

No. Working items are helpful, but non-working electronics and loose computer components may still have reuse value. We evaluate donated items for repair, refurbishment, repurpose, or usable parts.

Does ReAbleNow accept computer parts and components?

Yes. We accept reusable computer components such as motherboards, video cards, processors, RAM, circuit boards, power supplies, hard drives, SSDs, expansion cards, networking cards, cables, connectors, and mixed computer parts.

What happens to items that cannot be reused?

ReAbleNow evaluates donations for reuse first. Items and materials that cannot be reused are handled responsibly through downstream partners, including licensed recyclers where required.

Does ReAbleNow pick up from businesses and organizations?

Yes. We work with individuals, businesses, schools, government offices, and organizations. Pickups are scheduled by appointment, and larger pickups can include notes about item quantity, data-bearing devices, loading areas, and timing.

How do I request a pickup?

Go to the Request Pickup page and complete the form with your contact information, pickup address, item description, estimated quantity, preferred pickup date and time, and photos if available. Our team will review the request and follow up.

Can I send photos before scheduling?

Yes. Photos are helpful, especially if you are not sure whether your electronics or components qualify. You can upload photos with your pickup request.

What about computers or drives with data?

Please tell us if your donation includes computers, hard drives, SSDs, phones, tablets, servers, or other data-bearing devices. This helps us plan the pickup and handle those items appropriately.

Is ReAbleNow a nonprofit?

Are donations tax-deductible?

ReAbleNow is located at 3315 Birtcher Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Pickup scheduling is available Monday through Friday by appointment.

Donated electronics create hands-on work such as sorting, testing, cleaning, organizing, parts identification, repair support, refurbishment support, inventory, and preparation for reuse. These tasks help create meaningful paid work and training opportunities for neurodivergent people, autistic people, and people with disabilities.
